And the Marseille supporters, who dream of seeing the club sold, should not be granted anytime soon. Indeed, in the columns of La Provence, the local daily reports that the American owner Frank McCourt has no plans to sell OM.
“He will also repeat to you that he has no intention of selling the club (which his close guard reminded us yesterday),” writes the newspaper. Fans of the Marseille club will therefore have to content themselves with supporting their team and hope that it will wake up after the winter break.
