Neymar must find ways to occupy his time while he remains sidelined due to injury, and the Brazilian star is sporting a bold new look.
The South American striker, who is now his country’s all-time leading scorer, has become as famous for his appearance off the field as his performances on it. At 31, he likes to stand out and never hesitates to break with the norm.
Neymar has sported flamboyant hairstyles during his stints at Santos, FC Barcelona, Paris Saint-Germain and Saudi club Al-Hilal. The Brazil international has now decided to hit the ‘reset’ button, revealing on Instagram that he has shaved off all his hair.

Neymar has been written off by Al-Hilal after suffering an unfortunate anterior cruciate ligament injury during 2026 World Cup qualifying with Brazil. He will be unavailable for several months, meaning there is no room for him in the immediate plans of his Middle Eastern employers, and a long road to recovery is expected.
Neymar only played five matches with Al-Hilal, scoring one goal, and there was talk of being dismissed from his hierarchy according to local media.
