In charge of the whistle for the fear match between Stade Rennais and Olympique Lyonnais, Stéphanie Frappart had a difficult time.

The tension was palpable at Roazhon Park on Sunday for the clash between Rennes and Lyon. Defeat was forbidden for both teams and the match changed from the 5the minute when Stéphanie Frappart excluded Guéla Doué, whose first start in Ligue 1 turned into a nightmare. The best illustration is obviously the attempt at intimidation by Nemanja Matic, who did not hesitate to glare at and even slightly jostle Stéphanie Frappart when the latter gave him a yellow card at the start of the last quarter of an hour.

But the most virulent were the Rennes supporters. This is evidenced by the insults descended from the stands during the meeting. “Bitch”, “Dirty whore”, “Big female dog”: these are the insults received by Stéphanie Frappart from spectators present at Roazhon Park. An attitude which did not fail to provoke a reaction.
