Manchester City have made an offer for PSG youngster Warren Zaire-Emery during the summer transfer window, it has been reported.

Zaire-Emery has been one of the most inspired players in European football during the 2023/24 season, quickly becoming an important figure in Luis Enrique’s side.

Thanks to his dazzling performances at club, the 17-year-old was called up to the French team by Didier Deschamps and is on track to become the youngest player to wear the colors of the Blues since the First World War.

Zaire-Emery began to prove himself under Christophe Galtier last season, and his performances interested Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City enough for him to make an official approach for the midfielder last summer.

According to information from France Television, Man City were confident enough in the young player to offer a sum described as a “crazy” €60 million to PSG for the teenager.

This offer was obviously rejected by PSG president Nasser Al-Khelaifi, who did not want to see another hope from the training center disappear so quickly.

PSG’s confidence in its player proved justified. The talented midfielder’s maturity, confidence and physicality have shone through in what has been a scintillating campaign for him so far.
