Liverpool took advantage of a double from their Egyptian King Mohamed Salah to beat Brentford (3-0) and return to equal points with Manchester City and Arsenal at the top of the Premier League.
The defeat in Toulouse already digested (Thursday in Europa), Liverpool FC resumed its march forward in the Premier League with an easy success against Brentford (3-0), Sunday afternoon, for the 12th day of the championship English. The Reds are second in the standings, tied on points with Manchester City, a leader who challenges Chelsea in stride, and Arsenal, winner on Saturday. Mohamed Salah ended a series of three matches without being decisive by offering himself a nice double, on a service from Darwin Nunez (22nd), who had been denied two goals, and a cross from Kostas Tsimikas (27th) . The Egyptian King already has 10 goals in the PL and, if he is ahead of Erling Haaland who has 11 goals, he is the most decisive player in the championship ahead of the Norwegian by adding his four assists. Diogo Jota scored the 3rd Liverpool goal (74th).

Jürgen Klopp’s team will have a good international window before a terrible shock against Manchester City, at the Etihad Stadium, on Saturday October 25.
