Thiago Silva made Premier League history by becoming the fourth oldest goalscorer in the competition, at 39 years and one month.

Thiago Silva celebrated his 39th birthday on September 22 and still runs the house as a central hinge at Chelsea. The former PSG captain even opened his goal tally during the clash against Manchester City, with a header at the near post on Sunday at Stamford Bridge. He hasn’t scored with the Blues since January 23, 2022!

The Auriverde makes Premier League history as he becomes the fourth oldest scorer in the history of the championship at 39 years and one month. He is the oldest goalscorer since Ryan Giggs on February 23, 2013. The Welsh midfielder was 39 years and 2 months.

Teddy Sheringham is the oldest goalscorer in PL history. The ex-England international scored for West Ham in 2006 when he was 40 years and 8 months old.
