Axel Disasi called up to Blue to replace injured Konaté

It’s the return of the international break. This Monday, the players called up by Didier Deschamps to play the matches against Gibraltar and Greece will travel to Clairefontaine this Monday. This meeting will be without Liverpool defender Ibrahima Konaté.

The Reds defender had to withdraw due to injury. The 24-year-old defender has a small muscle injury in his left hamstring.

His injury should keep him away from the field for the next two weeks. Chelsea player Axel Disasi is therefore called upon to replace him in defense.

An absence which will reshuffle the cards in defense. For the match against Gibraltar on November 18 at the Allianz Riviera in Nice, Didier Deschamps has a good chance of fielding a central hinge composed of Dayot Upamecano and Lucas Hernandez.
