Newcastle, another opponent of PSG bites the dust

Newcastle lost (2-0) at Bournemouth. Bad day for PSG’s opponents in the Champions League.

PSG’s opponents definitely had a bad Saturday! After the defeat of Borussia Dortmund in Stuttgart (2-1) and the draw (2-2) of AC Milan in Lecce, it was Newcastle who missed out on their match in the Premier League. Traveling to Bournemouth for the 12th day of the championship, the Magpies lost (2-0) at the Vitality Stadium.

It was a double from Dominic Solanke in the second period (60th and 73rd) which allowed the locals to win and take a little breath from the relegation zone. Newcastle continue to not be spoiled with injuries, as Miguel Almiron, the Argentine attacking midfielder, left his partners early in the first half due to a thigh injury.

The English, 7th in the Premier League, risk being reduced on November 28 at the Parc des Princes, for a decisive meeting in the Champions League.
