Sunderland player Jobe Bellingham is said to be a better footballer than his brother Jude. And it’s not just anyone who says it.

Jude Bellingham is currently the attraction of world football. Author of a breathtaking debut in the Real Madrid jersey, the English midfielder has established himself as one of the big stars of tomorrow. Many predict a golden destiny for him and not just because he won the Kopa Trophy recently.

Jobe Bellingham called to follow in Jude’s footsteps

The former Dortmund man is an outstanding footballer, but it seems that he is no longer the gifted one of the Bellingham siblings. His brother Jobe would be even better.

It was the Spanish coach Pep Clotet who shared this confidence. He knows the two brothers well since he was manager of Birmingham City when Jude and Jobe were still at the club. This was before his departure for Russia and the Torpedo Moscow club.

In an interview with Sky Italia, he said: “Jude himself always says that his brother is stronger than him. We’ll see, for now, he plays in the Championship (in Sunderland, editor’s note). He has scored two goals so far.” This does not weigh heavily in the balance with the record of his older brother, already author of 13 goals in 14 matches with the Merengue.

Jobe Bellingham is two years younger than his older brother. However, he would have nothing to envy of the latter. Clotet even assures that he is on point athletically. “We had him with us during the pandemic period, he is a striker with a physique similar to that of Jude.”
