Without a goal for almost two months, Olivier Giroud has rectified the situation in recent days. The striker scored twice against Naples on October 29, before scoring the winning goal against PSG this Tuesday in the Champions League, becoming the oldest French scorer in this competition. He now has 7 goals (and 3 assists) in 14 matches in all competitions since the start of the season.

Enough to convince his management to extend it once again. According to La Gazzetta dello Sport all the lights are green since the player would also like to stay in Lombardy. AC Milan wishes to extend its current lease (June 2024) for an additional season to take it until June 2025. The top scorer in the history of the Blues will then be 39 years old.
