The Europa League match between Liverpool and Toulouse, scheduled for this Thursday evening, was marked by incidents that occurred before the match.
Two weeks after its big defeat at Anfield (1-5), Toulouse finds Liverpool to try to create the feat at home against the ogre of this Europa League. A gala match experienced as a celebration in the pink city, which is celebrating its great reunion with the European Cup following the coronation of Téfécé in the Coupe de France last season.
But this match, seen as a gala meeting, could take place under high tension. Before the match kicked off, several incidents occurred in Toulouse. According to information from La Dépêche, four Liverpool supporters present on site were attacked during the night from Wednesday to Thursday by hooded individuals.
Targeted by surveillance cameras, the men in question were armed with a knife and had performed a Nazi salute before attempting to physically attack Liverpool fans. Aged 18 to 29, these individuals are identified as Ultras of the French club, although they are carrying an LFC flag.
