Former teammate of Jude Bellingham at Dortmund, Thomas Meunier was impressed by the Englishman.
Thomas Miller rubbed shoulders with great players in the Belgian national team as well as at club level, notably at Borussia Dortmund. Mbappé, Haaland, Bellingham… The Red Devil has met some great people during his various journeys.
But according to his comments given to the magazine So Foot published this Thursday, it is the English player who most impressed the Belgian defender.
How good has this guy been?! @ThomMills aka ‘Belgian Becks’ keep it going!!!😘🤣 https://t.co/XxspfczSWM

At Dortmund, Jude Bellingham nicknamed Meunier the “Belgian Beckham”, highlighting the full-back’s talent for finding his teammates in the opponent’s box with his crosses.
Meunier is even more effusive about his former teammate: “If Jude was a stock and I had put a Euro on him when he left Birmingham, I might stop working,” praised Meunier in So Foot. “ He’s a guy who moves the lines. He already had this oral ease and this entrepreneurial spirit, while many players of his age are content to stay a little behind“.
A maturity also noted by his coach at the time, Edin Terzic: “ He is the oldest young player in the world“. Real were obviously right to invest in the Benjamin Button of football…
