Piers Morgan, who is known to be a fan of Cristiano Ronaldo, savagely trolled Erik Ten Hag after Manchester United’s dismal defeat against FC Copenhagen (4-3).
The English presenter did not hesitate to criticize the Dutch manager for his treatment of the five-time Ballon d’Or winner before his explosive interview which led to the premature termination of the Portuguese’s contract at Old Trafford.
The Red Devils lost to Copenhagen at Parken Stadium on Wednesday evening, which caused them to slip to fourth place in Group A, leaving their hopes of qualifying for the C1 round of 16 hanging by a thread.

Quoting a message from the BBC on social networks where we see Ten Hag lowering his head after another disappointing defeat, Morgan wrote: “’I don’t need Ronaldo’”.
This isn’t the first time Morgan has attacked Ten Hag. The famous columnist launched a social media assault following United’s seven-goal humiliation by Liverpool at the start of March, pulling several Ten Hag quotes out of the drawer to tease and mock the tactician.
United will hope to return to winning ways when they face Luton Town on Saturday. Ronaldo will be in action on the same day against Al-Wehda in the Saudi Pro League.
