Traveling on Thursday to Slovan Bratislava (4th day of the Europa Conference League), Lille conceded a draw in the final minutes of the match after leading (1-1).

Leader of Group A in the Europa Conference League, Lille traveled to Slovan Bratislava on Thursday evening for the fourth day of the competition. THE Mastiffs did not lose, but the draw (1-1) conceded against the Slovaks in the last ten minutes of the match will have a little taste of disappointment for them. Lille nevertheless remains at the top of its group with one point ahead of its opponent of the day.

As is often the case in C3, the meeting was not fun. Notably a sad first period which could have caught fire a little if Karshia had not been unlucky when he saw his header hit the Lille post (27th). For the rest, nothing to report and everyone returned to the locker room (0-0).

Predictable equalization

The start of the second half was the wake-up call for the visitors and, on a good ball from Yazici, Angel Gomes managed to give Losc the advantage (0-1, 52nd). An advantage that Fonseca’s men will maintain for a long time, until this almost predictable equalizer from Cavric (1-1, 80th), after a penalty refused to the locals a little earlier (68th) and a save from Chevalier (75th).

Nothing will be marked anymore and everyone has left good friends. Next European match on November 30 for Lille which will challenge the bottom of the group, Ljubljana, which it beat at Pierre-Mauroy on September 20 (2-0).
