At only 17 years old, Parisian midfielder Warren Zaire-Emery was called up for the very first France A team by Didier Deschamps this Thursday.

History is in the making… As announced several days ago by the French press, Warren Zaire-Emery was indeed selected by Didier Deschamps, this Thursday at the beginning of the afternoon, to participate in the next two meetings of the Blues, against Gibraltar (November 17) and Greece (November 21), as part of the Euro 2024 qualifiers.

The young PSG midfielder, who has continued to impress since the start of the season, took advantage of Aurélien Tchouaméni’s injury to join the France A team for the very first time. From then on, the one who had been named captain of the Espoirs by Thierry Henry could become the youngest player in history to wear the blue tunic since 1914 by beating Eduardo Camavinga, also called up by Didier Deschamps.
