Author of a superb start to the season with Atlético, Antoine Griezmann is relishing his state of form and the play of his team.
Following on from its 2022 World Cup and its start to 2023, Antoine Griezmann never stops enjoying under the jersey ofAtletico Madrid. Author of a double and always omnipresent in his team’s play, the 2018 world champion was elected man of the match and scored his 11th goal in 15 matches this season.

An effective role change
Aligned in midfield as in the French team, the 32-year-old appreciates this new role and the change in Atlético’s style of play. “There, we play more calmly so I have to make the link between the midfield and the attack and I try to be more complete. Author of his 168th goal in the red and white jersey, Griezmann came back five lengths behind Luis Aragones, top scorer in the history of Atlético Madrid. This season, he could therefore further strengthen his legend within the capital club.
