The former Catalan defender has set up quite a project with his famous Kings League, a football competition which brings together famous streamers, former pros and ordinary players, totaling millions of viewers across the planet. A huge success which logically pushed other people to imitate or at least be inspired by its concept.
As explained Marca, Toni Kroos will launch a similar tournament, the Icon League, with German streamer Elias “Eligella” Nerlich. A project which will also bring together big names in football, streaming and the music industry, and which will start in summer 2024. As in the case of the Kings League, there should be rules different from classic football so that meetings be more lively and more entertaining. To be continued !
