Kolo Muani, the terrible tackle

Disappointing since the start of the season, Randal Kolo Muani currently does not have what it takes to start with PSG and the French team.

Quite a few Paris Saint-Germain players missed their match on Tuesday evening in Milan. But for him, it’s starting to become recurring. Starting at San Siro, Randal Kolo Muani only touched 14 balls, and his influence on the game was minimal. An opening for Mbappé, an overflow on the right wing, and that’s about it, which penalizes PSG.

“They don’t have a center forward for this level, notes Vikash Dhorasoo bitterly. Kolo Muani, 14 balls… He makes a goal pass to Mbappé, but it’s too little. He can have two or three chances on crosses, chances that Giroud can put away. He goes in front, but he never makes the right move at the end. »

The observation is quite terrible for Kolo Muani who, if he does not manage to establish himself as a starter at PSG, could also lose credit in the French team. “When Kolo Muani signed for PSG, we said to ourselves that we had the attack of the French team, recalls Dhorasoo. But maybe the center forward, he’s still at Milan actually. (Olivier) Giroud, he was present in the fight, in the duels, he participated in the first goal, he scored the second…”

Both players should be on Didier Deschamps’ list this Thursday for the Blues’ next gathering. But it will be interesting to see who the coach lines up up front against Gibraltar and for the trip to Greece.
