Having gone into exile in the United States last summer, Amandine Henry could make her comeback in the French championship… but not in Lyon.

Not extended by Olympique Lyonnais, Amandine Henry joined Angel City FC, a franchise based in Los Angeles, on a free basis in the summer. And while the American championship season is already over and will not resume until next March, the 34-year-old midfielder could see herself returning to France to stay in shape and thus keep her place in the within the French team.

“The goal for me is to find a club in Europe and to be able to train with this club to keep myself in shape. For one or two months, it would only be to participate in training then sign in January (during the winter transfer window), to play a few matches and still apply for the France team,” confided the French international in last October to AFP.

PSG interested, but…

According to information from Le Parisien, Paris Saint-Germain, who lost Oriane Jean-Français to injury, have “activated” the track leading to Amandine Henry. “ Her experience at a very high level, her knowledge of the championship, as well as the link she may have with the Bleues, are arguments for her signing. explains the regional daily.

As a reminder, Amandine Henry was transferred under similar conditions to PSG in January 2017, while she was playing for Portland Thorns. But the capital club did not only check the name of the former Lyonnaise, since the Norwegian Frida Maanum and the German Lena Oberdorf also appear on the shelves of the Parisian club.
