Bayern Munich and their coach Thomas Tuchel are reportedly looking to recruit a player from FC Nantes.
Bayern are reportedly prospecting in Ligue 1 at the moment. Germany’s flagship club would like to acquire a French talent, in the person of Quentin Merlin. This FC Nantes full-back is of particular interest to the Bavarian management and its technical staff.

The 90min site claims that Thomas Tuchel really appreciates the profile of this French hopeful international (7 caps) and he would therefore like to attract him to the Allianz Arena as soon as possible.
Merlin (21 years old) is under contract until 2026 with the Canaries. If there is a transfer, there is no doubt that the FCN will ask for maximum money for its young and promising element.
If the rumors of Alphonso Davies leaving for Real Madrid are confirmed, Merlin could be the Canadian’s successor at the German champions. However, the FCB is not the only one interested in this element. RB Leipzig, Manchester City and Paris Saint-Germain are also said to have their sights set on the left-hander.
