Seriously injured in the knee, the international tricolor defender of Inter Milan, Benjamin Pavard, is not expected to play again until next year.

The verdict is in regarding Benjamin Pavard’s injury. Hit during the match against Atalanta Bergamo (2-1), this Saturday in Serie A, the French defender from Inter Milan should be unavailable for six to eight weeks.

The former Bavarian is the victim of a “dislocation of the patella of the left knee”, an injury which will prevent him from taking part in the next meeting of the Blues. The Tricolores will face Gibraltar and Greece, respectively on November 18 and 21, as part of the last two days of the Euro 2024 qualifiers.

If we are to believe the internal medical staff, the 2018 world champion who nevertheless hopes to return to the field for the match against Genoa on December 29, should instead make his return in 2024.
