Parisian supporters who arrived in Milan on Monday were attacked in the evening by around fifty Milanese ultras. A Parisian fan would be seriously injured.

The clash between AC Milan and PSG took a dramatic turn on Monday evening. Violent incidents pitted Parisian supporters present on site against around fifty Milanese ultras. While the Parisian fans were in the Navigli district, renowned for its bars and restaurants, the Milanese ultras allegedly carried out a raid to attack their counterparts, two weeks after a first heated confrontation in the stands.

Helmeted and armed with bats and batons, the Rossoneri supporters appeared and attacked the Parisians, not hesitating to launch Bengal fires and mortar shots in different establishments, causing a wave of panic among local customers. According to the Italian press, the Italian police, absent from the scene, took around ten minutes before intervening and restoring calm.

The Milanese ultras would have come from the Curva Sud and would have carried out a real ambush on Parisian supporters. “ Everything was planned: a vendetta after the clashes in Paris,” says Corriere della Serra. The toll was heavy with several injured taken to hospital, including a 34-year-old French fan, seriously injured after receiving two stab wounds to the legs. However, his vital prognosis is not in jeopardy. Two police officers were also reportedly hit, one of whom was hit with a stick by a French supporter, who was arrested.
