OL and Molenbeek pose serious concerns for John Textor, the American businessman at the head of the French and Belgian clubs.

» Why Claudio Caçapa is not threatened despite 4/21 ? » Knowing the fate often reserved for coaches lacking results, the question of Evening is not insulting to the Brazilian technician.

The Belgian media recalls the results of the last six meetings of RWD Molenbeek in the Jupiler Pro League. The promoted team’s last victory dates back to September 16, against Cercle Bruges (2-1).

After 13 days of the Championship, the Coalisés occupy eleventh place, out of 16 teams in the Belgian elite. The situation of players in the Brussels-Capital region worries John Textor and Claudio Caçapa thinks perhaps his seat is becoming ejectable.

Botafogo, no better

The former OL central defender (2001-2007), that of the golden years, arrived in Molenbeek last summer, succeeding Vincent Euvrard, the coach of the rise in spring 2023.

Already in great doubt with Olympique Lyonnais at the bottom of the Ligue 1 rankings, the American owner must face the unease which is creating around the RWDM.

Via Eagle Football, John Textor also owns Botafogo. And it’s hard to smile either. The Rio de Janeiro club has just recorded a third consecutive defeat in Brazilian D1, against Vasco Gama (1-0) where Dimitri Payet plays.
