Responding to questions from the Commission of Inquiry responsible for studying the operational failures of French sports governance bodies, the former boss of the Football Federation said all the good things he thought of Didier Deschamps: “ He’s an exceptional guy among people who know football. Deschamps took over from Laurent Blanc at the Blues after Euro 2012. His contract runs until the 2026 World Cup.
