Champions League: PSG is far from being a favorite according to Opta

This Tuesday evening, PSG will challenge AC Milan in an incandescent San Siro. In the event of victory, Luis Enrique’s men would take a serious option on qualification against the Lombards who absolutely need success to maintain their hopes of a European spring. The Parisians are also looking to win on the pitch of a semi-finalist from the last edition to assert themselves as a credible candidate for final victory, a Holy Grail behind which they have been running for several seasons.

And according to the latest predictions made by Opta, PSG is clearly not among the big favorites this season. With a 2.7% chance of winning the Champions League this season according to the statistics office, the capital club ranks 9th in the ranking of favorites. While Manchester City dominates this ranking (32.4%), Real Madrid (13.1%) and Bayern Munich (12.9%) complete this podium. For Opta, even Atlético Madrid (3.5%) and Napoli (3.1%) have more chances than Kylian Mbappé’s teammates. A ranking that should get people talking…
