It’s the crisis at Al-Ittihad, where Karim Benzema’s team is no longer winning. Coach Nuno Espirito Santo finds himself in the hot seat.

Things are going badly on the Al-Ittihad side. Despite XXL recruitment this summer, with the arrivals of Karim Benzema, N’Golo Kanté and Fabinho, the club from the city of Jeddah is no longer winning.

Al-Ittihad has just gone five games without a victory in the league, five games during which the Yellow and Black scored only four small goals (including two by Benzema). Returning to fifth place in the Saudi Pro League, 11 points behind leader Al-Hilal, the “People’s Club” did not help its situation by losing against the Iraqis of Al Quwa Al Jawiya (2-1 ) in the Asian Champions League.

As a result, Nuno Espirito Santo finds himself in a very precarious situation. According to TuttoMercatoWeb, the Portuguese coach would even play his head this weekend, during the meeting against Abha, the 12th in the ranking.

In the event of Espiriro Santo’s ouster, TMW indicates that Al Ittihad have a few coaching names in mind. Saudi leaders would dream of Antonio Conte, or even Zinedine Zidane, who could thus find Benzema. But the most feasible route would lead to Hansi Flick, who has been on the market since he was replaced by Julian Nageslmann at the head of Germany.
