Samir Nasri’s implacable verdict on Mbappé

Kylian Mbappé’s future at Paris Saint-Germain has been the subject of much speculation in recent months.

His contract expires at the end of this season, meaning he can sign a pre-contract with any interested club from the start of January.

One of them is Real Madrid, with whom Mbappé has been strongly linked for some time. Florentino Perez absolutely wants to bring the 24-year-old to Los Blancos and, at this stage, it is looking increasingly likely that wish will come true.

However, Samir Nasri, a former Manchester City, Arsenal and Sevilla FC player, told Mbappe not to join Real Madrid and told Journal du Dimanche that he would be better off staying at PSG.

“He is from the Paris region. I would stay at PSG rather than go to Real Madrid to win the Champions League. If Marseille had been owned by Qatar when I was at the club, I would never have left. I think it’s better to be king in your village.”.

Real Madrid hope that Mbappé does not follow Nasri’s advice, although they are concerned by the way the situation unfolded two years ago, when the Bondynois chose to stay at PSG.
