Olympique Lyonnais is still not taking off. Early Sunday afternoon, Fabio Grosso’s players even came close to a 7th defeat in ten league matches against Metz, before Skelly Alvero’s late equalizer. But this draw is not reassuring for Les Gones, who are still in last place in Ligue 1 and who have still not won a single match in 2023-2024.

The Rhone club is now the only one of the five major championships not to have won this season, including in the second divisions, since Sheffield won its first success of the season on Saturday against Wolverhampton. Time is running out for Lyon, especially as their schedule is getting tougher with a trip to Rennes followed by the reception of Lille and a new trip to Lens.
