Mike Maignan’s return to Paris did not go as planned. The French goalkeeper had a bad evening at the Parc des Princes with AC Milan, conceding three goals against PSG, during the third day of the Champions League. For the next match between the two teams, which will take place at San Siro, in Milan, the 28-year-old goalkeeper wants to show a better face, and in particular against his captain in the France team: Kylian Mbappé, who had opened the score against him.
“We lost 3-0, the match is played 11 against 11. I work for good saves, if there is action against Mbappé, I have to do my best. We are talking about a high-level, quality player. He’s doing great and I’m happy to see him. But we can’t anticipate his actions, he is always very fast. Paris is a strong team, but so are we. We have to put what we know how to do on the ground. It will be a difficult match, but we are at home, we have to give everything”, he explained to the press. Answer Tuesday evening, at 9 p.m.
