PL: before Toulouse, Liverpool hanging on the Luton lawn

This Sunday, Liverpool traveled to Luton Town for the eleventh day of the Premier League. The objective was simple for the Reds: pocket the three points to temporarily climb into second place. And facing the poorly classified promotion, things did not go as planned for Jürgen Klopp’s gang. Dominators in the game during the first act, the German technician’s men were unable to make the difference because of the bar (13th) or Thomas Kaminski (16th, 33rd) who intervened in front of Darwin Nunez and Diogo Jota. While they continued to harass the opposing goals in the second half, the Liverpuldiens were then surprised at the very end of the match when Carlton Morris had already called on Alisson Becker a little earlier in the game (65th).

Found at the far post by a delightful ball from Issa Kaboré, formerly of OM, Tahith Chong opened his account with Luton to offer victory to his new team (1-0, 80th). And while they thought they would achieve a prestigious success synonymous with leaving the relegation zone, Rob Edwards’ flock were caught by Luis Diaz. While he had complicated weeks with the kidnapping of his parents in Colombia, the former Porto player, who entered the game, allowed his team to secure a draw with a beautiful cross header (1-1 , 90+5e). Despite this interesting draw, Luton stagnates in 18th place. Before moving onto the pitch at the Toulouse Stadium in the Europa League, Liverpool will have to correct their realism problems but climb to third place in the standings.
