On the occasion of the 10th day of the Bundesliga, Wolfsburg hosted Werder Bremen at the Volkswagen Arena. Ninth at kick-off, Niko Kovac’s men had three consecutive defeats and had to raise their heads. Opposite, the Werderaner hoped to confirm their great victory acquired last weekend against Union Berlin (2-0). And things started perfectly for the visitors who quickly opened the scoring thanks to Marvin Ducksch (0-1, 7th).
