AC Milan surprised at home. This Saturday evening for the 11th day of Serie A, the Milanese lost against a successful and opportunistic Udinese team with a score of 1 goal to 0. This setback does not do the men’s business any favors. Stefano Pioli.

Indeed, the Rossoneri remain stuck in third place with 22 points and miss an opportunity to move ahead of Juventus in the standings.

Rafael Leao’s partners are not reassured before the reception of Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League this Tuesday for the 4th day of the group stage.

On the other side, Udinese gives itself some fresh air and leaves the red zone with this success against the Milanese. The Bianconeri are now in 16th place.

The Rossoneri surprised by Udinese

It’s a dark evening for AC Milan and Stefano Pioli. First affected by Theo Hernandez’s injury before the start of the match, the Milanese were never able to break the barrier of their opponent. Between lack of efficiency and technical accuracy, Mike Maignan’s teammates were not sharp enough in the zone of truth.

Dominated by the Rossoneri, the Udinese players never gave up and ended up surprising their opponents a few minutes after the hour mark. Festy Ebosele entered the area before being tackled by Tijani Reijnders.

Roberto Pereyra opened the scoring from the penalty spot (1-0.62nd). The Argentine midfielder wrong-footed Mike Maignan.

Despite an intense end to the match, where the Rossoneri kept pushing to get the equalizer, the Udinese defense held on and finally took the three points.

A defeat which does not reassure before the clash of the titans against Paris Saint-Germain. The Italians will have to raise their level of play to hope to do something against the Parisians.
