Real Madrid jostled by Girona. There were not many who predicted such a start to La Liga 2023-2024.
The modest Catalan team, which notably includes Daley Blind and Eric Garcia, takes over from FC Barcelona to break the endless rivalry of the two giants of Spanish football.
On Saturday, Girona returned to the top of the standings, three points better than Real Madrid against Rayo Vallecano on Sunday evening, thanks to a spectacular victory obtained in Pamplona.
