If he decides to return to his profession, Zinedine Zidane already has a job promised to him.
It’s been almost two and a half years since Zinédine Zidane last coached. He left Real in the summer of 2021 and since then he has mainly taken care of his family, rejecting all external requests to which he is subject. But, this situation may not last very long.
Zidane ready to dive again?
If we are to believe information from The Times, the French legend was contacted by the MU board. Mancunian officials are considering him to succeed Erik Ten Hag, whose days at Old Trafford are said to be numbered due to a succession of poor results.
Coaching in England was not Zidane’s priority. In addition, the latter also affirmed that he will only coach capable of competing for the biggest titles. Manchester United is clearly not in this category today. Nevertheless, and given his love and passion for the game, ZZ could be tempted. It would be better than continuing to twiddle our thumbs.
If Zidane were to refuse the job, Manchester United have an alternative. The English club is also thinking of the young Portuguese coach Ruben Amorim (Sporting Lisbon).
According to The Sun, Erik Ten Hag is clinging to his position at all costs. He knows he is threatened, but he is determined to save his place and revive Manchester United.
