The promising AS Monaco attacking midfielder is done with football in 2023.

Hard blow for Eliesse Ben Seghir. The year 2023 is over for the young AS Monaco attacking midfielder. Ben Seghir injured his shoulder at the start of the week while he was with the reserve team of the Rocher club, said Friday The Team.

“ Maybe he’ll have surgery, I don’t know, but he’ll be out at least until the end of the year.”, explained Adi Hütter, ASM coach, at a press conference. The 18-year-old footballer is unlucky after missing the start of the season due to a hip problem.

In total, Eliesse Ben Seghir played 32 minutes of play this season with the Monegasques, against Metz and Lille, on October 22 and 29 in Ligue 1.
