Real Madrid finally sees the end of the tunnel with the construction of the new Santiago Bernabéu. Florentino Pérez’s new jewel must be finalized in 2024 and Casa Blanca is already forecasting annual revenues of around €300 million thanks to this multifunctional stadium. But to finance this setting, the Merengues had to request several loans.

In 2019, they obtained one of €575 million, repayable over thirty years. In 2021, they obtained another, for €225 million, to finance the installation to preserve the lawn in a basement. This Thursday, A.S. says the club will ask its members for permission to request a third loan. The sum of €360 million is mentioned. In total, the record holder for Champions League victories will have to repay a loan of 1.160 billion euros (without interest) for his stadium.
