The LFP competitions committee revealed this Thursday the date on which the OM-OL match, postponed last Sunday, will be replayed.
After the serious incidents which occurred in Marseille on Sunday evening, on the sidelines of the Olympico kick-off between OM and OL, marked by Fabio Grosso’s eye injury, the match was logically postponed. This Thursday, the LFP competitions commission indicated that it had set this meeting for December 6.
The LFP competitions commission must now “subsequently determine the location of this meeting while awaiting additional information from the public authorities guaranteeing optimal safety and security conditions for all of its stakeholders and the public,” declared the president of the body, Vincent Labrune. We therefore still do not know whether the match will take place at the Stade Vélodrome, behind closed doors, or on neutral ground.
