Last Sunday, the match counting for the 10th day of Ligue 1 between Olympique de Marseille and Olympique de Marseille was canceled due to the aggression of Marseille supporters towards the Lyon bus and its players. This Thursday, the LFP made a decision concerning the date of this meeting.
The president of the LFP Vincent Labrune announced that this Marseille – Lyon counting for the 10th day of Ligue 1 will be replayed on Wednesday December 6.
“ The committee has just decided to reschedule the match for December 6. But above all, it will subsequently determine the location of this meeting while awaiting additional information from the public authorities guaranteeing conditions of optimal safety and security for all its stakeholders and the public. For my part, I asked yesterday, under Article 4 of the disciplinary regulations, that the disciplinary committee be referred to on an exceptional basis so that the file can be processed in its entirety, and in particular in order to assess the areas of responsibility in the conditions of access to the Stade Vélodrome,” he declared.
