Brazilian star Neymar sent a little message to his friend Lionel Messi, crowned Ballon d’Or this Monday.

At 36, Lionel Messi won his 8th Ballon d’Or, ahead of Erling Haaland and Kylian Mbappé, this Monday at the Théâtre du Châtelet in Paris. An event to which his former teammate at Barça and Paris Saint-Germain, Neymar, did not fail to react.

Absent from the ceremony, the Brazilian striker from Al-Hilal nevertheless congratulated the “Pulga” through a message on social networks. “Congratulations Leo, you are the best”wrote his former friend from the MSN (Messi, Neymar, Suarez) on Instagram.

As a reminder, Auriverde suffered a rupture of the cruciate ligaments of the knee and a torn meniscus during Brazil’s defeat against Uruguay (2-0) on October 18 as part of the qualifiers for the 2026 World Cup.
