The management of Real is currently working to recruit one of its former jewels.

There is a player who is currently performing very well in the Spanish La Liga, in the person of Takefusa Kubo. The Japanese international seems to have reached the age of maturity and his Basque team is benefitting from it every week.

Real competes with Manchester City

If he continues this way, Kubo should not stay very long with San Sebastian. Real Madrid, the club to which he belonged until the summer of 2022, would also be interested in the idea of ​​recovering him. The Spanish capital club have a 50% sell-on clause in Kubo’s contract.

Real are not the only ones tracking the Japanese prodigy. Manchester City are also considering entering the race for his signature. According to Mundo Deportivo, City are already putting together an offer with this in mind.

The same source also claims that a large number of European clubs will send recruiters to observe Kubo during the match between Real Sociedad and Benfica on November 8.

Kubo is under contract with Real Sociedad until the summer of 2027.
