Aurélien Tchouaméni suffers from a fracture of the second metatarsal. It should be unavailable for several weeks.
On Saturday, Aurélien Tchouaméni was unable to fully celebrate the victory snatched down to the wire by Real Madrid, during the Clasico, against FC Barcelona (1-2). Indeed, the international tricolor ended this prestigious meeting with a fracture of the second metatarsal.
“Following the examinations carried out on our player Aurélien Tchouaméni by the Real Madrid medical service, he was diagnosed with an incomplete stress fracture at the level of the second metatarsal of the left foot. Evolution in progress », we can read in a press release published by Real Madrid this Sunday morning. Due to this foot injury, the former AS Monaco player will miss several weeks of competition. His absence from the field could even be around two months.

In all likelihood, Aurélien Tchouaméni should therefore not be summoned by Didier Deschamps for the next meeting of the Blues. The France team must still play two matches to complete the Euro 2024 qualifiers, respectively against Gibraltar (November 18) and Greece (November 21). More than ever, the chances of seeing Warren Zaire-Emery in the A selection are strong.
