The match between OM and OL, scheduled for this Sunday evening, was canceled after violent incidents occurred around the Stade Vélodrome.
The match between Olympique de Marseille and Olympique Lyonnais, scheduled for this Sunday evening at 8:45 p.m. for the 10th day of Ligue 1, has been canceled. The pre-match was marked by violent excesses around the Stade Vélodrome. The OL bus was stoned by a group of supposed supporters.
The police had to intervene to escort the bus as it entered the enclosure tunnel. A window of the Lyon bus was apparently broken, causing shards of green which hit coach Fabio Grosso. The Italian technician, with a bloody face, was then treated by the medical staff of the Rhone club.
After a discussion held during a crisis unit, the refereeing body decided to apply the protocol to cancel the meeting. The match is therefore postponed to a later date.
