According to the survey carried out by Odoxa for Winamax and RTL, the Argentinian is, in fact, clearly not popular. Thus, according to this study, Kylian Mbappé should be designated (46%), ahead of Erling Haaland (19%) and Lionel Messi (12%).
Furthermore, this survey reveals that the Ballon d’Or remains an important football event (61%), followed by one in four French people each year. However, only 38% of French people believe that it really rewards the best player in the world. With this in mind, respondents believe that voters should above all rely on the Champions League (35%) and collective performances (40%). Finally, the participants in this survey place Messi fourth in the football pantheon (13%), behind Pelé (28%), Zidane (22%) and Cristiano Ronaldo (14%).
