This Saturday, FC Barcelona hosts Real Madrid in a summit clash counting for the 11th day of La Liga at the Montjuïc stadium. A victory over the Madrid rival would allow Barça to move past their opponent of the day and take the lead in the standings. While Raphinha, Robert Lewandowski and Frenkie de Jong remain uncertain for this meeting, Catalan coach Xavi will however have to do without the services of Jules Koundé, Sergi Roberto and Pedri.

Victim of an injury to the “anterior rectus muscle” of the right thigh contracted in training on August 24, the Barça midfielder has been absent for over two months. While a return was considered in recent days, the 20-year-old will miss his fourth Clasico as the reliever Mundo Deportivo. During the previous year, the native of Tegueste was unable to take part in the match at the Camp Nou on March 19 and then also missed the double confrontation against the Merengues in the semi-final of the Copa del Rey.
