Aston Villa and their coach Unai Emery have had a fairly remarkable start to the season. The Spanish technician is no less criticized by a star consultant from the English media.
Fifth in the Premier League, four points behind leader Tottenham, after nine days, Aston Villa is off to a promising start to the season. Unai Emery and his players recorded last weekend, against West Ham (4-1), an eleventh success in a row at home in the Championship.
The Spanish coach’s method obviously has something to do with it but nothing to get excited about either, says Jamie Carragher. The former Liverpool central defender, a Scousers legend like his teammate at the time Steven Gerrard, does not see the Villans keeping up the pace all season.

Asked by Sky SportsCarragher also gives his feelings about Unai Emery: “ When you think of elite level managers, I think there are only two in the English Championship, Pep Guardiola (Manchester City) and Jurgen Klopp (Liverpool). »
An outing that the three-time winner of the Europa League as coach will appreciate.
