Questioned at a press conference this Monday, Peter Bosz does not seem affected by OL’s current situation.
After a more than complicated passage on the bench of theOlympique Lyonnais which ended with a dismissal a little over a year ago, Peter Bosz found colors in PSV Eindhoven. Arriving this summer, the Dutch coach is in first place in the Eredivisie with nine victories in as many matches. In the Champions League, the results are less flashy since their players are last in Group B on the eve of the trip to Lens.
Bosz wary of Lens
During this trip, Bosz was obviously questioned about the situation of the northern club, leader of the group with four points in two matches despite their difficulties in the championship (15th with 9 points). “I know this team a little, I have already played against them. It’s a good team. There were departures but good players arrived. They are a very strong team since they returned to Ligue 1, they have progressed. (…) We cannot compare with their ranking. It’s a very good team that has been playing better for several games”he declared about the Blood and Gold.
And has no sorrow for Lyon
He was also asked about his former club, OL, whose situation does not really seem to affect him. “I know they are last, it’s a shame for them. I don’t have any other feelings about it.”, he simply replied. It must be said that his Lyon adventure ended rather badly with conflicts with his management and a workforce which had abandoned him, like Alexandre Lacazette who had publicly questioned the Dutchman’s tactical choices.
