Attractive this Sunday against Rennes, the Lorient Merlus won the derby (2-1), on behalf of the 9th day of Ligue 1.

FC Lorient was starting to find it long. It took a Breton derby for the Merlus to end a series of five Ligue 1 matches without a victory, including three defeats. The small event occurred on Sunday against Stade Rennais (2-1), on the occasion of the 9th day.

At the end of an intense and balanced match, the Régis le Bris team benefited from a CSC, in the form of a gag, signed by Omari in the 4th minute (0-1). The Rennes central defender was then relieved to see his blunder made up for by Blas’ cross, served in time by Gouiri (1-1, 21st).

The affair was played out between two former residents of Le Havre and OM. The last word went to Isaak Touré who, with an outside left foot, forced Steve Mandanda to look for the ball beyond the line (45th + 2).
