OM’s third defeat this season in Ligue 1, conceded on Saturday evening in Nice, was accompanied by other bad news.

OM have lost one game in three this season. An already worrying assessment but not surprising since the club led by Pablo Longoria is going through a crisis which has seen, in particular, a third coach arrive on the bench.

After Marcelino resigned and interim Jacques Abardonado, Gennaro Gattuso experienced his second loss in the Championship, Saturday evening in Nice (1-0, 9e daytime)after that conceded in Monaco on September 30 (3-2, 7e j.)

At this rate, the Marseillais will perhaps be content with a place in the soft underbelly at the end of the season. While waiting to find solutions to make the attackers more skillful, OM must manage staffing problems.

In Nice, Jonathan Clauss and Pau Lopez were injured during the match. The right back, who started with the Blues during the international break, complained of a soreness in his right thigh, Gennaro Gattuso said after the match.

The Spanish goalkeeper has a muscle problem, continued the coach during the post-match press conference.

It would not be surprising if Clauss and Lopez withdraw from the AEK Athens reception on Thursday evening for the 3e day of the Europa League.
