Already winner of Brentford (2-1) before the international window, Manchester United won away to Sheffield United (1-2) on Saturday evening for the 9th day of the Premier League. A good sequence which allows the Red Devils to move up to 8th position in the standings, still six points behind Man City, the current leader and next opponent!
Erik ten Hag’s players are far from having put in a good performance, messy, like Marcus Rashford who is still unreliable. Scott McTominay, definitely in full success, opened the scoring with a recovery in the open area (34th). In the process, the Scottish midfielder, aligned in the absence of Casemiro, offered the equalizing penalty to the Blades, transformed by Oliver McBurnie (34th).
The match could have gone either way, but it was ultimately a magnificent strike from Diogo Dalot (77th), from 25 meters, which allowed MU to take the advantage and finally win during this short trip to the North of England.
