Bordeaux shoots itself in the foot

For Albert Riera’s first on the bench, Bordeaux lost to Angers this Saturday.

As part of the 11^e day of L2, the Girondins suffered the law of the SCO on the mark of 2-0, weighed down by a blunder by their goalkeeper, Straczek, on the opening score of Angevin. A setback which leaves FCGB at 15th^e rank, only two steps ahead of the red zone.

Angers, for its part, is on the second step of the podium, two points behind a leader from Laval who hosts Saint-Etienne on Monday evening. With Auxerre and Grenoble on their heels, held in check respectively by Caen (1-1) and Valenciennes (3-3).

Fifth, Rodez missed the mark at home against Bastia (1-1). Good operation on the other hand for Ajaccio, winner of Pau (2-0) and seventh in the standings.
